Online business alliance (oba) – “stacked income”

Online Business Alliance (OBA) – “Stacked Income”

If you’ve ever purchased an ebook or an online business opportunity, presented by compelling sales pages with copywriting that lured you in like a big red fish, only to be completely disappointed, you ought to read this.

You know how they do it.

It starts with a big red headline using an impact font that captures your attention. For example, “Who else want to make X amount and finally learn the secret to making money online?”. Something like that.

Next, they try to reel you in, pull your strings and make you feel as though you are not doing everything you can to support your family. “Take action NOW!” “See you on the other side” they say.

How many times have you heard that?

You send them your $49.95, you reach the other side, and learn that the secret to online marketing is writing articles and posting in forums. Do this consistently and you can ride off into the sunset.

If you are like me and don’t give up, you should read “Stacked Income” by Dave Gray. It is well worth every penny. In fact it costs 500 pennies ($5).

Mr. Gray is a distinguished business man with a fresh, real world approach to Internet marketing. He is the founder and administrator of the Online Business Alliance (OBA).

One of the main points is that Stacked Income” is not another name for “multiple streams of income”. Gray explains in detail how “multiple streams of income’ never work and contrasts that to his stacked income formula in a step-by-step methodically way.

Another important chapter covers the fallacies involved with “the money is in the list” approach. How many times have you heard that? Dave Gray squashes that theory as well and explains why in a no nonsense businesslike approach.

When you purchase “Stacked Income” or any other of Dave Gray’s products for $5, you are automatically provided an online business opportunity and membership to the Online Business Alliance (OBA). Basically, it’s an invitation you can’t refuse.

Once you’re inside the OBA, it is also a step-by-step process. You can leave and come back, but you can’t skip a step. This helps everyone.

Speaking of help, there is tons of it in the forum and Dave Gray will answer your questions personally if necessary. Everyone in there is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Absolutely no one will try to sell you anything or try to get you to do this or that. The help is truly genuine.

There is a lot more to the Online Business Alliance and “Stacked Income” than selling five dollar ebooks and digital products. While that is a lucrative business for many and the product line continues to expand, the business model outlined in detail in “Stacked Income” is the exciting part.

This is not the same old same old ebook with the same reused, resale rights content with a new, spruced up ebook cover. This is proprietary and revolutionary new information that will prove to be the future of Internet marketing for the foreseeable future.

Manage your time to earn more in less time

Manage your Time to Earn More in Less Time

People talk about the 80/20 rule quite a bit.

20% of your customers produce 80% of your profits.

80% of your problems come from 20% of the customers.

20% of your activities produce 80% of your results.

Let’s talk about this in regard to how you’re spending your time. Since 80% of your activities only produce 20% of your results, and the other 20% of your activities are producing 80% of your results…wouldn’t you be better off concentrating only the 20%?

Let’s say someone works 12 hour days. It’s almost unbelievable to me that people work that much, but I’ve spoken with MANY who do so. Sure I could understand and have done a 12 hour day right before a vacation or on the last day of finishing a project. But working that long every single day? That’s the surefire recipe for a breakdown, both physically and mentally.

Applying the 80/20 rule to their 12 hour days means the 80% is 9.6 hours and the 20% is 2.4 hours. If we cut out the 80% that isn’t producing very well for them, we would only have 2.4 hour days. Now there’s a schedule I like.

Something I often suggest to my coaching clients is to make an activity log for the next week. Every day, simply list all the activities for the day and how long it took you to do them. At the end of the week rate each of those activities by how well it is building your business.

You’re going to find you’re wasting way too long on certain activities.

You may find like many of my clients these activities include:

– Reading too many blogs (Limit the number you subscribe to)

– Subscribing to Internet marketing newsletters that only sell without providing good quality content.

– Answering Email All Day (no more than twice per day and shoot for once per day or less)

– Surfing the Forums (I can’t think of a bigger waste of time if you’re not there for the purpose of generating traffic by participating)

– Calling Someone Without a Specific Plan in mind (you can waste an hour with no results – keep it short and planned)

All of the above are activities people do to make them FEEL like they’re working instead of doing any real work. They also consume your day.

What are you personally doing that is wasting your time?

What do you do to replace the real work of your business?

Usually these are activities that consume much of your day…and don’t show any real results at the end. They are part of the 80% producing only 20% of the results.

Next ask yourself which activities really bring in the cash.

For example, for me, these cash producers include:

#1 – Writing (used for the blog, new products, and article submissions)

#2 – Copywriting (sales copy for my sites, tests, and emails)

#3 – Product Development (recording videos and doing interviews to create products)

#4 – Business Development (creating systems for others to do the work – could also be listed as the real #1 cash producer but I love the writing part the best)

Where do I waste my time?

I asked myself this question lately and had to answer I had slacked on following my own email rule (answering no more than twice per day max which I do for the coaching clients). So I’m pushing myself strictly back to this.

I’ve also allowed myself to check the comments on my blog too often. So for the time being I’m turning off blog comments. For me they are part of the 80% that’s not really producing the results.

Be honest with yourself…and figure out where you waste your time. What parts of your business are the 20% producing 80% of the results? Which parts are the 80% only producing 20% of the results? What can you eliminate or outsource immediately?

"lather. Rinse. Repeat" Set the Stage for High Payoff Problem-solving

How many times a day do you feel like your time is being wasted?

Is this you? You’re sitting in a meeting and while someone else is talking about a problem that they feel needs to be solved, you’re wondering why they don’t get on with it, or whether anyone else thinks this is the forum for such a small issue, or why they think everyone needs to know about it.

Then when the next person leaps in with a great idea they’ve thought of, your mind chatters away with “Oh, that idea, again!” or “Jeez, everyone knows that’ll never work!” or “That’s got nothing to do with what needs doing here!”

One of the most overlooked reasons for breakdowns in personal and business productivity is “right behind your eyes!”

Your mind’s in a fog because of all the assumptions and convictions that are chattering away, having their own conversation. They’re blocking your ability to listen with an open mind, think analytically about the information you have or need to get, and develop targeted solutions.

And you’re not the only one operating that way! Situations in business and life have become so complex that a simple answer isn’t always apparent. And all of our personalities are so diverse that we’re all frankly lousy at mindreading.

All that brain power and experience is being regularly flushed down the time drain instead of being used to actually identify what needs solving and solve it!

So where does that leave us? You need to learn techniques that help you focus and identify the real issues buried behind the chaos, and get your attention back on what it takes to Achieve Your Vision.

Here is a taste of the first of the 7 Essential Techniques I use with my clients to recover their ‘brain power’ and increase their productivity: They’re not taught in schools or get rich manuals, but they create productivity increases of 60% to 300% in as little as 10 minutes.

Technique 1 – “Lather. Rinse. Repeat” – Vent the ‘Story’ Are you finding no one has any attention for actually solving things! Do you feel like a lot of finger pointing and blaming is going on, instead of work? Do you find people on your team have their reason why the other is creating complications and problems? And what about you? Let’s start using the technique with you.

Take a lesson from shampoo manufacturers. You can’t make headway when everyone is fixated on the events leading up to the meeting to solve them. Get the entire story told, in the utmost detail, until you’ve said it all. Not in discussion, not in dialogue. Here are the steps to use

1 – Identify some issue you’re not making any headway on

2 – find a partner to do this exercise with

3 – Print out this page or forward it to them so they can read it

4 – Ask your partner to listen, just listen and ask yourself “Is there anything else?” every time you pause

5 – When you get to the end of the story, if your answer to that question is even to pause to check, go right back to the top and start the story from the beginning and repeat the steps.

Notice that there’s no problem-solving. Just stir up the lather in the situation thoroughly, then rinse and repeat.

Repeat the process until you cannot add a single thing, and then tell it again – at some point you’ll get fed up with the story on your own and be ready to move on to actually solving the real issue.
